Black Spark 1973 – Who Wants Cum?

The Black Spark erotica

Many of you may be well aware of the enigmatic creations by The Black Spark as the content has been floating around since 2011. But if you haven’t had the pleasure, I figured I’d start sharing some of my favorite clips from their collection of erotica. Each short film is its own work of art, both artful and explicit at the same time. Most of the scenes feature anonymous models, faces obscured by exotic Carnivale masks, bandanas or soft focus. The is leaves all the attention on tight, intimate shots of love making, lips and tongues exploring every inch of tight muscled flesh, cocks thrusting in mouths and asses. However, this isn’t your typical gay porn. What elevates The Black Spark Material above the usual porn offerings is a true sense of artistry in the way the sex is shot. Most guys shooting porn these days really don’t have much skill in capturing any kind of real intimacy. It’s generally all about the raw sexual exchange between the men on camera. Who ever the mysterious man behind the camera is for The Black Spark treats his lens like one of the partners in the actual sex act, making it all the more palpable.

I’m not sure what has happened to The Black Spark project as of the last year or so. The old domain seems to be up for grabs. Several Tumblr sites have been stripped of content and the Facebook page hasn’t seen any activity in some time. My assumption is that the guys creating the content ran into a ton of legal disputes regarding licensing of the music that much of the sex was set to. All the clips had their own soundtrack which made each one a sort of nasty music video. I always found it pretty brazen that they had take liberties with the use of all those pop songs without paying royalties. However, from the ashes of those original pages has risen Noone Is Ever Alone which seems an attempt to rebrand the content.

There’s always been much speculation about the true identity behind who’s creating all this beautiful imagery. Many swear they have identified him as an adult film model who did scenes for a web company called College Dudes and Corbin Fisher. I’m still on the fence. I see the similarities in the eyes, but can’t swear they are the same guy. It doesn’t matter to me anyway, I prefer not really knowing the mystery man who’s behind it all.
